Sales Executive

Role overview

You will be responsible for driving our sales by selling our solutions into leading Retailers based in North America and will play a key role in helping us to achieve our targets.

The sales executive's responsibilities will include generating leads, making sales calls, continuously updating our CRM database, and meeting sales targets.

You should be an inspired self-starter and able to drive sales growth, be able to build rapport with customers and close sales.

In this role, you’ll get to

  • Gather market and customer information to figure out the customer needs
  • Respond to customer queries and solving them
  • Create proposal documents as part of the formal bidding procedure
  • Provide customers with detailed and accurate quotations and cost calculations
  • Contact existing and new customers to explain the advantages of buying Retail Insight products
  • Communicate with customers before and after a sale
  • Deliver presentations to potential new customers to buy products or services
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of Retail Insight’s products to advise and make suitable recommendations to customers
  • Attend conferences as and when to understand industry trends
  • Use the CRM system to ensure accurate forecasting and future pipeline

We are looking for people who:

  • Have a proven ability to sell products and services
  • Have excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Possess strong networking skills to build relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Are adept in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and data to drive the sales process
  • Have in-depth knowledge of sales strategy, product demonstration and sales reports
  • Ability to understand complex issues and distill them into solutions
  • Understands how to use technology to solve the business challenges facing client and build a business cases
  • Can be smart and creative about sales opportunity
  • Has an ability to analyze opportunities, set strategies and execute to win business
  • Can build and develop strong relationships with prospective clients
  • Has a keen will to win and is driven by success, and all that comes with it
  • Is comfortable operating and communicating at all levels of an organization
