Role overview

Every engine requires a dependable supply of oil to ensure it runs smoothly and consistently. Retail Insight is that engine and that oil is you, our Marketing Automation Manager. The focus of this role is to ensure the global sales team is running as efficiently and productively as possible.

You will be responsible for optimizing the usage of HubSpot by the Marketing and Sales teams, including data enrichment and integrity, configuration, and the creation of relevant playbooks and sales enablement materials. You will also undertake data tracking, reporting, and analysis to provide stakeholders with recommendations and insights to improve performance.

You will interact with all levels of the Marketing and Sales teams, onboarding and mentoring new team members, and helping leaders and managers make data-driven decisions and recommendations for improving the total marketing and sales pipeline and process.

You will work alongside the Research Operations Executive and wider Marketing team to oversee the lead qualification process, build ABM campaigns, arrange email campaigns, and contribute to the creation of marketing content, like white papers, webinars, infographics, videos, blogs, and case studies.

You will have a passion for change and continual improvement, and the mindset to take an idea from concept through to execution.

In this role, you’ll get to

  • Support the Marketing and Sales teams using HubSpot with data enrichment, process improvement, measurement, tracking, analytics, and reporting relevant to their functional areas and objectives.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to constantly monitor the total pipeline quantity and quality, analyze and report on campaign performance with reporting and dashboards.
  • Oversee the lead qualification process, build ABM campaigns, arrange email campaigns, and contribute to the creation of marketing content, like white papers, webinars, infographics, videos, blogs, and case studies.
  • Enhance marketing and sales productivity by enabling the teams to work smarter by creating playbooks and processes, including sales enablement materials.
  • Create monthly content for executive presentations and board reporting.
  • Track and analyze key metrics including pipeline growth, win/loss rates, and quota attainment.
  • Own the end-to-end process of tracking the total pipeline and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve pipeline performance for marketing and sales management.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new marketing and sales talent on HubSpot.
  • Create all relevant customer personas, refine customer segmentation, and assist with territory management.
  • Maintain regular check-ins with the Sales team and others who contribute to opportunity development to determine how sales opportunities are tracking against plan and identify any problems for internal review and problem-solving.

We are looking for people who

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree; technical or business-related field preferred.
  • Have 3-5 years of experience in sales operations as a HubSpot platform expert with proficiency in optimizing processes, creating reports, managing dashboards, and training new hires.
  • Understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure local execution and business impact.
  • Possess a good understanding of ABM, email marketing strategies, and the broader marketing mix.
